|Shape Your Bod-e with Chris Powell Bod-e Protein|
The Chris Powell Bod-e Protein shakes are delicious on their own in a choice of Vanilla Ice cream or Chocolate Ice cream flavors, but lately I've been experimenting with other ways to use the protein powder in everything from the obvious shake and smoothie recipes to muffins and cookies for healthy, protein-packed treats!
Here are a few of my favorite Chris Powell Bod-e Protein Shake Recipe Ideas to help you stay Energetic, Fit and Healthy:
1- BANANA SPICE PROTEIN MUFFINS (makes 24 muffins)
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 4 scoops Vanilla Chris Powell Bod-e Protein Shake
- 1 cup Stevia
- 2 tsp Baking powder
- 2 tsp Baking soda
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Nutmeg
- 2 cups Mashed Very Ripe Banana
- 1 Cup Liquid Egg Whites
- 12 oz Plain Greek Yogurt (I experimented with Cherry and it was DELICIOUS! ;-) )
- 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
Pre-Heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray muffin tin with non-stick spray and set aside. Mix dry ingredients in one bowl and set aside. Mash 1 cup very ripe banana and mix that with the rest of the wet ingredients until all lumps are gone. Combine dry and wet ingredients and mix completely. Separate batter equally into the muffin tray. Bake for 16-20 minutes. Toothpick should come out clean when they are done. Set on a cooling rack to cool. ENJOY =)
Nutritional estimate per 1 muffin: 85 Calories, 1g Fat, 8g Carbs, 3g Fiber, 4g Sugar, 8g Protein
*note: 1 of the original recipes I adapted called for Oat flour so this may affect nutritional content by a bit...feel free to alter and make it your own...that's the fun part of baking, right! ;-)
2- PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE PROTEIN BARS
-4 scoops Chocolate Chris Powell Bod-e protein powder
-2/3 cup flax seed meal
-4 tbsp natural peanut butter
-1/4 cup water
-2 tbsp cocoa powder
-mix all ingredients in a large bowl and stir. At first it may not seem like it is enough water, but keep stirring and it will eventually become a sticky blob….Add 1 tbsp of water at a time if needed.
-divide mixture into 4 equal portions and place in separate pieces of plastic wrap.
-store the bars in fridge or freezer. Once solid, enjoy.
3- Peppermint Mocha High Protein Shake
10oz coffee w/ 2 oz skim milk, or almond milk
Vanilla Chris Powell Bod-e Protein Shake
Cocoa Powder (to taste)
2-3 drops Peppermint extract (to taste)
add ice, blend and enjoy!
4- Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Shake
1 Scoop Chris Powell Bod-e Chocolate protein powder
1 Cup unsweetened chocolate almond milk (or sub with sugar free vanilla coconut milk)
1 Tablespoon natural peanut butter (or PB2)
1-2 Stevia packets (optional)
3-5 Ice Cubes
Blend and enjoy!
5- Orange Creamsicle Protein Shake

I just mixed the Vanilla Chris Powell Shake with VeMMA Bod-e Thirst! Wow! SO good-- tastes like an Orange Creamsicle!!!
1 scoop Vanilla Chris Powell Protein Shake
8 oz Skim Milk
Vemma Bod-e Thirst + Water (about 6-8 oz water...less if adding ice...depending on how thin/thick you like your shake!)
optional + ice cubes and blend
